This is another nature’s offer for us to defy aging as well as to keep our skin healthy and glowing – lemon.

This small, spiny evergreen shrub, growing to some height of six to seven meters, could be the least hardy on the citrus shrubs. The glossy, darkish green leaves are ovalish with pointed tips with crinkly edges. Among all the citrus family, its leaves include glands that secrete aromatic oils. Quite good smelling white flowers, tinged purple on the outside, emerge from reddish buds.
